I remember hearing about condoms called "American Caps", similar to these devices, decades ago. The usual advice was, do not use them. They do not offer much protection against STIs, and they can come off, and so offer limited protection even as a contraceptive.

His friend gets hiv from unprotected sex so his solution is to design a condom that covers less of the penis, wow what an idiot. No way thats going to catch on, not only with it carry more risk of catching an std but i dont see how it would be reliable in preventing pregnancy, not way its going to stay on everytime
