    Can anyone tell me the prefix of this number the +44 is confusing me

    It is a UK number.
    +4477........ = 077........ in the UK. 0044 77........ in ROI.
    It is probably an alternative number for when the escort is in Northern Ireland.

    Put simply,

    00 gives you access to external numbers.
    44 is the code for the UK (including Northern Ireland)
    353 is the code for Ireland (except Northern Ireland, which is same as UK)

    To ring a number outside your area, add 00. This the code that gives you access to external numbers. Then add the code for the region you wish to dial, for example 44 for the UK, (including Northern Ireland). Drop the 0 at the start of the number, and dial the number.

    But if the Escort is in the Republic, and has another number that is Irish, she probably has the UK number switched off and is only using it when she is in the North.

    Phones often change the 0044 that you input into +44; my mobile has a + sign under the 0 but no separate, designated +, though there is a * and a # key.

    To get a + you simply press 00, the change is automatic
