Default Time to ban the Eurovision Song Contest

I have only just realised the divisive nature of the Eurovision Song contest and believe that it should be banned forthwith. Rather than being a uniting force of good, it leads to bouts of jingoistic nationalism with each country shouting for their own, and branding the opposition as rubbish!!! This type of behaviour should be stopped as soon as possible.

(Besides we didn't get through, and our record could be under threat)

    It should certainly be banned.
It is obvious 90% of the contestants are trafficked and are forced to sing against their will, and to support a drug habit!

Ban it, it's diabolical, I cannot believe that prime time tv & vast amounts of money are spent on to this charade.

I agree, but I do think this could "be a bridge too far", even for our sam

Let's not ban it, just let's not bother entering it, but watch from afar.
