    Default Contrast between reviews

Here on E-I, we do get a wide spectrum of review from short one liners to something that could be considered as something a playwright has written.

Here are two examples of reviews I have processed today:

Short, simple and straight to the point.

Now let's look at another example:

I had promised myself a treat over the Easter weekend and boy am I happy I did. I had the pleasure of meeting the gorgeous ***. All arrangements were made via PM in a very clear and simple manner. Once I arrived at the designated location a quick phone call was all it took to be guided to this beauties door. The location was excellent and ***'s directions were perfect and easy to follow.

I had the usual butterflies in my stomach that I get when meeting a lady for the first time. These flew away as soon as *** opened the door dressed in a stunning little red number (I think *** has a thing for red). This girl is absolutely stunning with an amazing figure, beautiful long dark hair, hypnotising eyes, sensuous skin, gorgeous slender long legs and fantastic natural breasts that are to die for. My heart beat certainly stepped up a beat as *** led me to her bedroom. Once inside *** soon had me under her spell — she has a beautiful smile but every so often you get a glimpse of a devilish smirk and you know you are in for something special — and when I say special — words can’t describe it!

***’s GFE is unbelievable — from her first kiss to well….. Oh those kisses :-) She has an amazing personality which shines through. *** has a great sense of humour and she knows how to bring the best out in people.

There was nothing rushed about our meeting — well, not rushed in the sense to get finished and get rid of me — ***’s energy was something else and the activities never slowed for the entire hour!

Overall this was a fantastic meeting from the organisation to the location to the directions to the lady herself. I left ***’s apartment with massive smile on my face — this smile lasted for the rest of the day! I can’t wait to see *** again. As hard as it is to believe I think the better one gets to know this girl the better things will get.

Thank you *** for a fantastic time.
My question is this; do you prefer to read (or write) reviews that are short, concise and straight to the point, or do you prefer to read (or write) reviews that are take you through every aspect of the appointment, detailed and emotive? Perhaps you like a bit of variety? Maybe you want more detail or you think there is too much detail?

Tell us, what do you think?

There's merit in both Sam, depends on the reader I like the sharp witty ones that are less lick ass but I'm sure I differ from most.

My preference is for more detail than in the one liner example but perhaps not as much as the second example. What I also look for is whether I trust the reviewer, i.e. have I met ladies that he has previously reviewed and agree with his perspective. Opinions differ and to each his own!

The one liner example may not give enough information or detail, the second example is better but sometimes the reviewer goes overboard in their praise of the encounter.

As has been said by others you need to look at the reviewer and their other reviews. Also the other reviews of the lady, but at the end of the day opinions will differ and we are all entitled to our own.

All I can say is that after reading the second example I just want to drop everything and travel to meet that lady.

If you want minimalist, why not just have a simple traffic light with Red, Amber and Green options?

Each to his own. Previous reviews and track record most important. A single review from a first time reviewer is a right turn off, no.matter how eloquent or titillating the detail
