Selby did incredibly well to be only 3 frames down at the end of tonight's session...that black that ronnie missed after messing with his tip seemed to give selby an extra kick!big first frame to come tomorrow afternoon....
Incredible session ronnie missing balls never seen him miss
Fascinating final session coming up possible 12 frames going to be a late night I think
Im in shock after that last frame. Its going to interesting tonight, cant wait
The 2015 world champs off and running this morning.
Defending champion Mark Selby just won the first frame v Kurt Maflin
Can he be first to overcome the 'crucible curse' ?
Having recently won 2 ranking events, he's obviously in good form.
Who do you fancy to be champion in 17 days time?

I'm all for Ronnie, I stopped watching snooker it had gone to boring with the likes of ebdon and Dot taking an hour a frame
at least when O'Sullivan is playing you know it's going to be nice 10-20min frames doesn't matter if he's playng good or bad always nice quick snooker, when he's on form it's amazing to watch him. He had one long frame at. 30 mins but the next three averaged 10 mins each
Selby gone, it was impressive work by young McGill, he took everything in his stride and was very composed for someone playing the world number 1 at the Crucible. I don't doubt we'll be seeing a lot more of him
but I think it will probably come down to Ding or Murphy, Ronnie is playing well but he's in trouble with his long potting and you can't win the championship with 25% success rate
It' hard to fancy Selby to defend it given the stats! i think ronnie will be hard to beat.
