Thread: Embarassing Problem!

    Default Embarassing Problem!

I'm looking for some advice on what to do, or maybe what others have done in the past. Problem not a topic anyone likes to talk about and even though I'm basically anonymous on the forums, I'm still ashamed posting it here!

Well a while back I got warts, not genital warts, the 'norma'l kind. 1 on my toe. Then i got one on my hand! They are absolutely disgusting, I'm ashamed/embarassed/paranoid/feel like some kind of fucked up freak of nature... I have not seen an escort or been with a woman since as I just think anyone would pull a legger if they saw them and of course I wouldn't want to spread them to anyone! I remember having them when I was a young kid, don't remember much about them, they went fairly easily. Think they're in your blood stream for ever or something? I've been trying everything to get rid of them from home remedies to doctors but they are stubborn bastards. Some people say you just have to wait for them to go by themselves but that can take forever.

I'm just kinda desperate at this stage as it's affecting everything from confidence to my sex life etc. Is anybody or has anybody ever been in a relationship with someone who has warts, what did you do?

Hope anyone who has some words of wisdom out there that may assist or give me some kind of hope!

    Sorry for the long post.

You've tried getting your doc to freeze em or burn em off yeah?

Yeah all that crack, freeze em loads of times but they seem to just keep growing back. Using a sharp blade to cut all the flesh behind the wart has come to mind, a scar would be better than this! Atleast I could tell people I had a fight with.... ehhh a shark or something lol

The thing is, the stuff used in the GP is the exact same as the stuff you can now buy over the counter. The only difference between a doc and me applying it... well, nothing. I have done repeated treatments with this shit ever 2 weeks for over 2 months. Painful as fuck, sometimes I think they look like they're dying, the fall off. Rough skin there, maybe it will heal up... then bam next few days they grow back as if I've been feeding em steroids.

    OFF WITH THE LEG!!!!!!!!!!

I fucking love magical Creams. Not kidding. I will try literally anything. Including cutting part of my flesh off, if that works :P

I did exactly that, then went to a wart specialist. I thought it was the rolls royce of wart treatment, will be gone in 5 mins probably! Then she whipped out the exact same freezing product I had at home, and explained that the cryo freezing method has now become so popular that it's available in stores too. That I'm better off doing it myself, most people go to docs for those hard to reach spots where they can't apply themselves. Cryo/freeze treatment hurts like a bitch, forms a blister under the wart, then turns to scab, falls off and hopefully it doesn't grow back again. It seems my problem is, mine grows back again!!... now where did i leave my stanley blade.... (joking)

I doubt you can buy liquid Nitrogen in the store ?

That is the gold standard , effective treatment.

: Change GP , find a fancy dermatologist , tell him / her exactly what you want.

Some docs will try to treat only the surface , when in fact you do have to freeze it pretty deep for a lasting result.

    Good luck.
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

Don't end the story there!!! Did it work, and don't lie to me just so I don't use a scalpel. General curious if it worked, as there are surgery options available, but quite costly. But I thought even if i did that it would still grow back!!

thanks for sharing, they're so common, yet people are so ashamed!

There is another method to remove warts,by using electrical current-electrocoagulation.It's painful, and you may need to repeat treatment, but it works.I went to beautycian back home to remove two small warts on my hand, and I've never had one since.
I don't know If beautycians do it over here, but maybe dermatologist will.Give it a try.

This is what confuses me most. Both treatments - Liquid Nitrogen freezing method and the 'Cryotreatment' are given the same name. They both have sprays, which are at extremely cold temperatures (So cold that u can see white steamy shit.. cold steamy shit coming off the spray).

Both methods make the wart go extremely white as if frozen, then settle down, forms a blister and a scab.

But they are different somehow maybe, so I've sent an email to an appropriate person for more information on it. How effective it will be etc.

Thanks all for responses and help, guess the only option is to keep trying.

I bet after this post all the EI ladies want a piece of me!!!
