I'd imagine there's a fair bit of resentment among TS workers, given they're being undercut by TV's & possibly seeing their client base constrict accordingly. However, I'm sure there are users on this forum with experience of TV's who are every bit as feminine and alluring as those who've chosen a more permanent (and expensive) form of transition. The cost of becoming a TS is irrelevant in this debate. It is simply a matter of supply and demand. In Ireland, there is obviously a good demand for TS services at a price that is high by European standards. That is why so many TS escorts come here - they know that they can make good money here.

If the market price were to drop to €50, most of the escorts would leave, and work in Barcelona, Paris or Milan where they know the language and the weather is better! What would then happen is that the price would rise back to a higher level, because there would not be enough escorts to satisfy the demand.
