    The only reason I could think of for people to take those (silly) photos would be to brag about it with their mates, probably followed with some cheesy hashtag like #legend or something. The ultimate ego trip.

    Fair enough posting it on line, may seem like quite a egotistical thing to do but many couples enjoy filming themselves doing the dirt, either for their enjoyment later on or just for the buzz. I've done it myself, kept it to myself and had a lot of fun watching it back together...
