Earlier -- before doing a bit of online reading and discovering that even in Germany it has a huge following / fan base --

I speculated that perhaps in the Scandinavian countries due to the harsh prostitution laws men were turning to another outlet .. ?

But it seems that cannot be the case ? Germany has an open policy on prostitution (I think) and yet has one of the largest , most

organised Zoophile community.

It boggles my mind : if you have no human female , or no human male to couple with , perhaps I could understand

the dynamics of loneliness and choosing a four legged 'partner' . But in societies where paid or otherwise it is possible to

just as in raping a woman is not about sex , but about power , similarly , in these cases it's likely about having power over

another living breathing thing that may be the 'get off' ... In these societies (Denmark et al) rape of a human probably

carries a stiff sentence , whereas raping a dog does not.

Same 'high' of violating another feeling soulful creature , but without the legal consequence .


Attempting to , and maybe understanding the dynamic is one thing. To look away and allow it to continue is another.

The danes seem to have a reputation for not giving a shit about about animals. A few weeks ago a giraffe was put down in front of children and the body fed to the lions despite the fact that other zoos in other countries were willing to take the animal in.
