it can be slow at certain times but I was with o2 and I find 3 a lot faster.
I suppose its all down to network usage.
If you have a meteor sim you can get on limited internet for 1 month .and if you have a laptop or tablet you can connect the internet from your phone
To your laptop or tablet that way you can stay on the internet as long as you like
Get an iphone, sign up with "3" for unlimited usage & kill 2 birds..it's as fast as Vodafone dongle-but that may be due to coverage?
