thumbnail overlay

Long time user, first time poster here. Is there a way to turn off the overlay that says "escort" over all the thumbnails?
This only started happening this week, for the Belfast location. Eg, click on Belfast and display all girls, the result set has "Escort" in a translucent overlay at the bottom of the thumbnails. Not sure what its for, as in Belfast it all escorts, being "escort ireland", so just wondering is there a way we can disable that?

It's super irritating, I presume it's a bug that no-one's got around to fixing.
If whoever did it genuinely feels it adds value to something then they need their head examined.

It is there so that when someone hovers over the thumbnail, it determines the escort service type. If you don't like it, fair enough.

Yeah, but currently it's displayed permanently, not just when you hover over it.
It looks awful.

The only thing that stays permanently is the word 'escort'. If it is a female, male, TV, TS, massage or dominatrix profile, it will display those terms.

This is the absolute epitome of people whinging needlessly about the slightest little thing.

And this is the absolute epitome of this site's arrogance when users point out issues they have with it. I realise that UX isn't everyone's bag samlad and I also realise how low it is on this site's list of priorities, but it is important to some people. Try to bear that in mind the next time you accuse your users of "whinging needlessly".

To be honest, the apathy comes with the expectation that a few will complain for the sake of it. This happens whenever any changes are implemented on the site. One is beginning to think that certain people are too set in their ways to welcome any sort of change Then again, I didn't expect any sort of 'well done' or 'thank you E-I' thread either

Do expect more changes in the future by the way. Whether you will be happy with them or not will be another matter
