dublin gay bar advice help please

Heading to dublin for one night in January will be alone and have never been to any gay bars heading to a show then was thinking of heading to a gay bar were should I go and any advice considering im alone would be great read reviews online for the bars but they all have good and bad reviews

best option 4 a wedn. nite will be the george, just saying not everyone is gay there

I'm not gay myself, but I too would recommend The George. I've gone with my friends, always found it to be a great buzz on a nite, sure I get hit on, but I take it as a compliment, no harm done. Its easy enough to get to the bar to get a drink too!

Smokng area you'll find a lot of craic. Its been 5 euro in the odd nite i went but i cant remember what day it was being honest with you. all in all, its always a good crowd, good music, good atmosphere.

The other one, would be The Dragon, it can be hit and miss some nights, sometimes its packed, others its half dead, and dj's on music can be dodgy, as in one good song, followed by 3 that will just clear the floor, repeat pattern.

Have been myself in Panti bar and in George, in George attended the TS´s show, but to be honest, many TS on E-I look better then TS in the show in George. There was many people and good fun. Just be fast before the show starts and get good seat near to the stage.
I love gay bars....
Once they though i am TS too (as with heels i am almost 6´3"), hahaha.
