I am only 5 mins in , but she is saying the exact same thing that I was saying at the Meeting :

Sex Work and Trafficking criteria / definitions must be separated and divorced from each other for good , before any constructive

actions / legislation can be enacted . The two are not (!) the same !

As long as there is no cognitive , clear , and matter of fact acknowledgement that Sex Work does not equal coercion and trafficking ,

I fear we may not be heard properly . I believe the very first step in gaining acceptance for our position lies in achieving the very

tenable goal of establishing as common accepted fact , that Sex Work can be (and in most cases is !) voluntary and rewarding .

In many cases not only monetarily rewarding , but also tremendously rewarding on a human level : providing for a

human need which may not be met otherwise . (Companionship -- may it be sexual or might it be just for the sheer fact

of human interaction ! Of human kindness .)

I must watch the remainder of the footage , but a whole-hearted kudos to her for going there , for remaining an activist in face of

the hardship and for her dedication at the price of certain personal sacrifice .

In States we have a saying : "Only a fool would walk into the woods without a knife" >> so long you have it , you prob won't need it ,

Thanks for putting this link up. This is the first time I have heard Laura speak and was very impressed with how she handled herself. As for the tool who tried to accuse her of exploiting disabled people???
