To law makers, do-gooders, journalists and bible bashers, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you all that the whole stigma of seeing escorts in Ireland needs to be changed, why? I will tell you why...

I have been lucky enough to meet with some of the nicest ladies through this website, without whom I would have a very sad and lonely existance, I am a normal guy who works hard and not a trouble maker in any way. I am very shy and I lack belief and confidence in myself so I am not a hit with women.

Just because I see escorts for intimacy does not mean that I am an alcoholic, drug addict, a wife beater, a man who cheats on his other half or a maniac in any other way.

I have serious respect for the ladies I meet here, I do not use them weird sexual thrills or to take advantage of them to make me feel like an alpha male.

I have met a few ladies this year and have had a great time in their company, as I said earlier I would be leading a very sad life if I had to rely on my social skills to meet women, and only last night I met with one particularly fine lady who I had an absolutely mind blowing experience with, it's not the first time I have met her, so we get on well, as we chatted afterwards she introduced me to her flat mate who incidentally I am also a huge fan of, so we all chatted for a while and had a laugh, now it may sound sad but I had one of the most enjoyable nights in recent memory and as a result I am still smiling right now.

So my point is this, before you go and change the laws regarding escorts to make yourselves feel better when you go to mass on a Sunday I urge you to consider this side of the story, there are people like me who rely on the girls from here to break the boredom and monotony of our day to day lives.

Thanks for the positive reaction to my thoughts guys, to tell you all the truth I have been feeling a bit bored and lonely lately so only for this website I would be an "also ran" at this stage.

However I should also say a huge thank you to the gorgeous and very understanding ladies for being here. You provide an invaluable outlet for us to meet and spend time with women who would not look out of place on the catwalk.

Yeah, the media couldn't possibly accept the fact that a man might actually talk to the escort about all manner of subjects and be generally interested in the escort and her well-being. What could a journalist possibly know about visiting escorts unless he/she has done it himself/herself. It would be like me writing an article in the paper about rugby.

Unfortunately those trying to change the law don't wish to acknowledge or accept this face of escorting.

Thankfully our minister for justice seems to have a much clearer view of the diversity involved in sex work, and has acknowleged in his most recent statement, that consensual sex work does exist, and that a blanket ban on the clients of sex work is not proportional.

Unfortunately those trying to change the law don't wish to acknowledge or accept this face of escorting.

Hopefully the minister will see the positive aspect of the industry Morpheus, of course there is no denying that there is ladies who work in the sex industry here who are vulnerable and are being taken advantage of, this needs to be addressed without delay. I just hope that the solution does not exclude the genuine people like us.

If people are looking to change the law because of concerns about coercion and organised crime or people being exploited, your boredom or sexual frustration is irrelevant.

Parrot, of course you have a valid point, there is no denying all those things are happening, what I was saying for the benefit of onlookers and visitors to this website is that not all men who avail of the services of escorts are animals, or abusers of women. I just hope that the powers that be will keep this in mind, I and many, many others have huge respect for the girls we visit, this service isn't as rotten to the core as the published press and media would have you believe.
