I know it probably seemed like an excuse and a brush-off at the time, and the last thing you want to hear after making all the arrangements and travelling all that way, BUT:

Are you POSITIVE that it was just an excuse? Is it impossible to believe that she might have really forgotten her charger?

If her phone died, her phone wouldn't ring when you tried to ring her, it should have went to voicemail or you would have got a machine saying "the person at 08xxxxxxxx is not available.......".

    Did it ring?

ha tell me about it mate. I had a similar experience earlier, txt to confirm appointment this morning, then rang multiple times once i was nearby but either her phone or mine was acting up. Finally got through to her by txt and she concluded i was wasting her time, what an absolute disaster.

Forgiving is a quality that many don't have. It's easy to make a mistake, but not so easy to put it right. Live and let live.

I've been given the runaround so many times.

And after all the effort I put in, shaving showering polish the shoes, putting on a fresh underpants, driving for an hour, searching for a parking space, and then no reply to the phone call.....
