Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
Just saw this indie film for the second time yesterday and while it is a little out there it does ask some interesting questions. If you were given the opportunity to erase a really painful memory would you choose to do so or are all our memories what make us the people we are. Would our lives be better or worse if we could somehow erase some major events from our conscience. If we never lost our first love or our parents or a great friend or pet would we be happier than remembering them and being sad.
For me I think we need all these life experiences to shape who we are but just got me thinking what I would be like if I could eliminate some of them from my memory. Probably be a total different person or would I?
