Cool Any fans of Sherlock on BBC ?? Season 3 is coming!

The long-awaited third season of BBC One’s drama series Sherlock will premiere on Wednesday January 1st at 9pm, it has been announced. The show’s second episode will the move Sunday nights as of January 5th with the season finale following on January 12th.

Based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock was developed for television by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss and is described as a modern take on the Holmes stories. The drama series focusses on Holmes and Watson as they consult on cases, usually for the Metropolitan Police Service. Sherlock is produced by Hartswood Films and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, Mark Gatiss, Rupert Graves and Una Stubbs. In the opening episode, titled The Empty Hearse, two years have passed since Holmes’ apparent death and Dr John Watson has moved on with his life. New horizons, romance and a comforting domestic future beckon. But, with London under threat of a huge terrorist attack, Sherlock Holmes is about to rise from the grave with all the theatricality that comes so naturally to him. It’s what his best friend wanted more than anything, but for John Watson it might well be a case of ‘be careful what you wish for’! If Sherlock thinks everything will be just as he left it though, he’s in for a very big surprise.

The time between them is wayyyy to long but I love the show being a fan of the older sherlock holmes films/series i thought I wouldnt like a modern Sherlock show but its so well done its modern but has the old sherlock themes in there aswell.

    The Three Episodes are

    1. 'The Empty Hearse'
    2. 'The Sign of Three'
    3. 'His Last Vow'

    Hopefully not the last 3
