Horse dies after being doused with petrol & set alight in Tallaght

I'm not a horse lover, however I hate all forms of animal cruelty. I've just saw an article online that a horse was set alight, whilst alive, in a field opposite the Luas in Tallaght. It has died of it's injuries. Why do people have to be so cruel?
