Horse dies after being doused with petrol & set alight in Tallaght

I'm not a horse lover, however I hate all forms of animal cruelty. I've just saw an article online that a horse was set alight, whilst alive, in a field opposite the Luas in Tallaght. It has died of it's injuries. Why do people have to be so cruel?

Too easy, now castrating by poring petrol on there balls and setting that on fire is more apt, after that send them to a quarry with a pick to break rocks for a decade or two and see how they feel after...then you can shoot them.

I am a horse lover, having ridden and kept horses for decades. I abhor this type of cruelty. Horses are docile and gentle animals. This goes beyond cruelty, this is barbaric.

Absolutely disgraceful....barbaric...sickening... as a horse owner and lover I know the poor horse would have suffered a horrific death...........as for the people involved words can not describe them.

why are they so cruel? Because there is no deterrent thats why. This is a country where you can kill someone, plead guilty and get rewarded and get it down to manslaughter and be rewarded more. People like this should be put to death. There is no place at all in society for these people. FFS I was walking along one night and two drunk guys and a girl were walking towards me and one of the guys picked up a rock (it was a rock as in big) and threw it at a cat who was sitting minding his own business. He missed and I went over picked up the rock and handed it to him and told him to throw it at me. The idiot hadnt even the balls to put his hand out and take it. I threw it hard at the ground by his legs and he gives a jump and a yelp. Anyway there is no deterrent.
