Sadly the natural empathy of the everyday person wouldn't allow themselves to burn people alive...that is what separates us from these animals

I'm not a horse lover, however I hate all forms of animal cruelty. I've just saw an article online that a horse was set alight, whilst alive, in a field opposite the Luas in Tallaght. It has died of it's injuries. Why do people have to be so cruel?

I don't know how to post a link, maybe someone else can do this.

why are they so cruel? Because there is no deterrent thats why. This is a country where you can kill someone, plead guilty and get rewarded and get it down to manslaughter and be rewarded more. People like this should be put to death. There is no place at all in society for these people. FFS I was walking along one night and two drunk guys and a girl were walking towards me and one of the guys picked up a rock (it was a rock as in big) and threw it at a cat who was sitting minding his own business. He missed and I went over picked up the rock and handed it to him and told him to throw it at me. The idiot hadnt even the balls to put his hand out and take it. I threw it hard at the ground by his legs and he gives a jump and a yelp. Anyway there is no deterrent.

The fuckn sickos that could do that to a defenceless animal. It also turns that a homeless man n the phoenix park who died when his sleeping bag went on fire, was murdered. Not sure if he was dead before the sleeping bag was set on fire or not.
