    Question Techie help please xx

    Argh ,

    Someone please help me ?

    Turned on my laptop for the first time after a month ,

    and there's no sound . Speakers setting is to the max ,

    cannot think of what it must be ...

    Help ?

    Is it a PC or Mac ?
    Look man, I do what I can do to help y'all. But the game is out there, and it's either play or get played.

    What type of laptop? Mac or PC? Do you have a model number?

    Most likely its something in the hardware settings (which should be easily fixed), or possibly something physically wrong with the hardware itself (not so easily fixed)

    PC . HewPack.

    Never a problem with it before .

    I did leave it plugged it in though .. is that bad ? It shouldn't be ..

    Physically still sitting pretty on my desk . No one touched it .
    I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

    Do you have headphones? Could you try plugging them in the headphone jack and seeing if there's any sound coming from them? That might narrow down the list of potential problems

    sounds like someone did touch it tbh. v odd. have you tried turning it off and on again? and fully unplugging it

    Go into your Control Panel through the Start button or windows button your keyboard and have a look at the settings.

    Is there a cable from the wall to the speakers and from the speakers to the pc?

    Ok several things you can try . Look for switch on laptop could be on side or front of laptop . Try turning it it or click the switch . Second thing . Right click speakers down bottom right corner of screen and click on volume controll options or speaker controll options make sure boxs are ticked for correct hardware ie all devices currently play sound etc . If that dont work let me know more trickier stuff to do then
