You will not catch an STD this way, STDs cannot live on inanimate objects, they need human skin to survive
Again you are wrong, if someone infected with a std drinks from a glass, and you drink from it behind him, you will catch it as well. Only a temperature above 67 centigrad will make sure, but most dishwashers don't heat that high
As for you taking it with a large pinch of salt, please do, as you seem to know more than every body including professionals who spend their entire time fighting and preventing the spread of diseases.
Also, instead of preaching around, you could look at thoses reports yourself, I am sure they are published somewhere( it is recorded public knowledge after all), but me I will take the word of professionals over yours any day.

    which area might that be,
    medical,hospitality or health and safety?
Either way,I can understand why you speak of it in the past tense, beceause you are not very knowledgable on the subject , so a career was probably out of the question.
Again I repeat, I will take the word of a qualified professional over yours any day!.

I do not need to qualify my background here, look at any of the links I posted or visit one of the centres for the same advice, good luck to you

Nobody here ever said it was without risk, what is being said here is that it is not as bad and scary as you make it sound.
People only have to make an informed decision when visiting a lady..
What I am actually saying is that going to the pub is more risky than going to see a sex worker, that 's all.
For this particular exemple, your links are irrelevant, or do you need some reassurance about something ?

the facts are the facts, every action can have a consequence; informed decisions are exactly that, that's the purpose of this thread. Best phrase I have heard in a long time...., I am off the beer now. I am ok thanks, take it easy

Yes, kissing carries risks, but the strains of HPV are actually more specific than that. Apart from active herpes legions, none of the contractable STIs from oral sex can be transmitted by kissing.
