    Default Cooking

Who here can cook? The question is more aimed at the lads here but ladies are very welcome to contribute as well.

I can cook but nothing fancy just basic food. I can cook most dinners. I am no Gordon Ramsay or Jamie Oliver

I know alot of lads who are completely useless at cooking and would think I am completely weird for being able to cook to some degree.

Should everybody male and female be able to cook rather than depend on take away or the local shop/deli that does dinners?

I reckon everyone should be able to cook the basics, with the willingness to experiment with food.

I go for the "chuck it in and see what happens" approach... it's worked for me so far

I dont know how to cook so i leave it to the women, i'm just plain hopeful in the kitchen, i can make beans on toast but wouldnt try the difficult stuff ....the ladies cook me great meals so i don't complain, they are so good at multi tasking and in my opinion the best cooks

I love cooking especially after a stressful day at work. I put some light music in the kitchen and It takes my mind off things and I feel rejuvenated. Cooking is like sex. The more you experiment, the better you get at it

Start with soda bread, it is one of the easiest and quickest things to make, but tastes gorgeous!!!

I like cooking, but I am a bit rusty. Cooking for one is not really cost effective and results in a lot ending up in the freezer or being thrown away.

Stews Kate, it's the way to go if you're single and cooking. Tastes just as good when it comes out of the freezer too ... usually.
