Awh fuck, the asp misses two darts to make it 4-4. Mvg wins it with double 6. He fell over the line in the finish. Great final in the end.

Aspinall blew it a bit there after doing so well to get back. Proper player he is and he always seems mad for it. MVG looking strong again...good time to be getting back to his best.

Ross Smith beats mvg 5-4. He hit nine 180s in nine legs. Mvg still tops the group, ross finished 2nd. Great game.

Brilliant... rolling back the years. Always loved Barney. Haven't been tuning in to the darts much since he declined and then retired. Fair play...I thought with how is attitude went...he had no hope. He became a right bloody moaner.

I hope barney beats gezzie but i dont think he will. I think the longer format may suit gezzie. Cant see barney been that consistent over 31 legs. Maybe 16-12. Cmon barney.

Oh i'll never forget it. I was almost as happy as barney himself. I thought taylor had it in that last leg. Super game.

I always remember Barney starts final leg 100, Taylor 180 and then Barney 180 (huge). Brilliant match it was. When Barney burst onto the PDC scene he was unstoppable for a year.

No gezzie wasn't too bad after losing. Barney didnt jump up and down but he had a smile from ear to ear . Not bad from a 55 yo and a fella that had retired a few years ago.

What a legend , to produce that after all those years at 55 is astonishing , hopefully he can go further again
