Well done Peter Wright! It looked Smiths to lose when he went 2-0 in set 10 but incredible darts in the end.
I wonder will Smith ever win a world's, very doubtful for me but he will get more chances & he will win a big TV event this year.

It was a brilliant few weeks of darts it was pity Smith didn't win but fair play to Wright.

Brilliant tournament. Honestly enjoyed it. If Smith wins a Major I think will dominate for a few years, but always seems to throw it away.
Price is brilliant for the game love him or hate him he is great.
Lots of room for players to come through premier league selection will be interesting.

Hopefully Smith can get a major soon (maybe premier league) but we can just never know in this sport.

People are improving all the time & some people can only produce at the highest level for a certain amount of years for example mark Webster or Dean winstanley. Winstanley is a truck driver now!

Peter Wright walked away from darts after defeat in the 1995 BDO World Championship.

He then spent the next 10 years playing local league before his wife persuaded him to give the sport a second chance. Between 2005 & 2008, he had little success in the PDC.

From 2014-2019, Snakebite suffered 10 defeats in 11 major finals. He's now a two-time two- champion of the world. A simply incredible story.

He's a good guy. Fair play to him.

Delighted with this thought it needed a shake up for a few years now
