Hi Ketchup, I haven't really followed darts very much over the last decade or so, but with Phil the Power retiring after the Worlds, does he have a realistic chance of going out on a high,like reaching the semi finals or even further?

OK thanks. PP have the Power at 11/1 to win the title but only 3/1 to reach the final. I wonder would it be worthwhile to throw a few euro on him.

PP have MVG and Gary Anderson at 11/4 to meet in the Final. They have Rob Cross at 16/1. I take it Barney is Raymond van Barneveld, if so he`s at 50/1 to win outright.

I think MVG is a worthy favorite but the Worlds is a hard competition to win and at short odds I could not back him..

So the question is who can come through to Challenge him and the obvious names are Anderson, Barney, Snakebite , Taylor

As it is Taylors last time playing here and with his record over the years I would be leaning on an EW punt on him and take a
chance on him hitting the form he had in the summer when he won the world match play and he beat MVG by a big margin
in that tournament and if he could make a final this year I feel IT COULD BE WRITTEN IN THE STARS..
