I think that it should be banned. When I see an ad with an escort in an over the top school girl uniform I view it in much the same way as those ridiculous PVC nurses outfits with large red crosses. It's just an outfit. But I have to admit that while the schoolgirl thing can be arousing it is also disturbing - even on an older woman. I don't dwell on it and I don't request it.
To put it another way, it's wrong to sexualise children and while some might argue that it's an adult in the photo it still includes the concept of, if not the actual, children. Anything that starts or assists an individual along the road of sexual fantasies involving children should be banned. Not every child abuser is a genuine paedophile but viewing porn involving schoolgirl uniforms or requesting escorts to wear such may lead some down the road to extremes of behaviour. And that includes viewing child pornography which is no different from committing the crime oneself.
It isn't necessary. It reflects very poorly on the industry and casts doubt on the whole concept of consenting adults acting in a responsible manner. It will be impossible to prevent clients requesting anything but maybe those organising the industry could a bit of self regulation whether they are organising their own advertising or have somebody doing it for them.
