They will hit us Auld age pensioners too, probably will leave the rates the same to prevent a backlash but indirectly hit us and will cut the electric, telephone etc.
They are a shower of lousy feckers and coming up to Christmas and all.
How do they expect us to visit the Escorts after this

They will target everybody at the bottom of the food chain they will fill you up with crap and tell you there is stuff there to get like fas courses you then jot your name down for a course and get a little letter saying sorry you were unsuccessful on getting it and then boom your back to square one lol
I did like 3 fas courses since I left school and I had no interest in them but I done them to get out of the house and for the extra money lol and when the course finishes your sighing back on the dole haha
That's it I'm becoming a criminal and becoming a drug dealer they seem to be doing quite well for themselves

Maybe they have done it to try and encourage those people to go out and seek employment?
I don't know about anyone else, but when I was seeking financial help while I was out of a job I felt like crap. I hated doing it and I wanted to find employment, so maybe it is to encourage that?
I know that, in a perfect world, everyone able to work would be working, and that this would encourage them to seek employment, but it won't. There are those who do not want to work and will never work.
They need to investigate all claims properly and see what the money is being spent on. If it is being spent wisely then that's fine... if not, get rid

the middle class, educated people who designed the Irish welfare system had no clue
it would be so popular, that so many have so little ambition. i see families living good lives on welfare,
why should they struggle with something like work?
these cuts will affect only newcomers to this quite unhealthy and unique system.
dependency on free money is a dangerous drug. good training is needed, like you say, Mer.
