I'm sure the ladies on E-I get a lot of PM's, hence the problem.
As a client I always try to keep these P.M.'s to the minimum - never outstay your welcome is my moto!
My view is this - if you need to send a PM, do so as a last resort.
Obtaining details, location and time is fine, but forget the rest.
Personally I try to arrange appointment's by phone only.
At no time do I state who I am, but arrive with a small gift, which I hope lightens the meeting.
Although the 'gift' does not gain you any extra time, it seems to lighten the meeting and make it all the more enjoyable for me at least.
