I hear those saying something MUST be done about this Passage West Pervert, but I think my personal opinion remains that we cannot force this poor lady to come forward.

I hope if she reads this she knows that if she can give us any info about this client, we will share it with other escorts, and that will help keep other ladies safer... We will not try to pressure her into going to the police or doing anything else she doesn't want to.

WE NEED PROPER SUPPORT FOR ESCORTS. In many countries there are organisations set up to support escorts. At the moment we don't have anything like that in Ireland. This is a problem IMHO.

At the end of the day, each person including escorts, should be responsible for their own security arrangements. From what I have read, the escort in this case was collected by the client from the bus and driven by him to what was supposed to be his address i.e. no taxi driver or friend can be contacted to find out where she was brought to, if she cannot pinpoint the location herself.

Outcalls to complete strangers should be a total no-no, specially when one cannot give the address one is going to to a friend. The client may have given her an address, but as he collected her, it could have been a false one. If I were an escort, I would only do hotel out-calls or to the homes of trusted clients.

These cases of attacks/assaults seem to be on the increase. In the past month we've had Brenda Beauty, the escort in Passage West and now Anna Savicha as well, and God only knows how many others that have not been reported or only brought to the escorts attention on the escort private chat section. While the ability to warn escorts of dangerous or potentially dangers clients is to be welcomed, the fact is that anybody can go out and purchase a new mobile phone; so the warnings become meaningless.

I was always amazed at the number of escorts who were prepared to visit me without ever having met me before. Some would be visably nervous or apprehensive at first, so I always did my best to make them feel comfortable and at ease. Though given the state of anxiety that some escorts may feel now, I dont thing I would request an outcall now unless the person knew me well.

As I already stated in a previous thread, I think escorts need to balance personal security against earnings. There's an old saying "There are no pockets in a shroud". Escorting is a risky business at the best of times and recent events only serve to highlight this.

Finally, if anybody knows the escort involved in the incident in Passage West, they should use whatever influence they have with her, to get her to seek help - Rape Crises Centre, Ruhama maybe, and if she is not illegal in the country, then the Gardai also. Given the nature of the assault, this guy is likely to act his sick sexual fantasies out again on another poor unfortunate. I think that the client that she went to for help should be able to assist her and direct her where to get further help without his wife/family finding out. Afterall, if he can manage to hide his punting activity from his nearest and dearest, this should'nt be too difficult for him either.

My question,simple as they come.If you knew that going to the police about an attack on you actually helped prevent another attack by the same individuual on another woman ,would you still have gone to the police,even if it meant disclosing your an escort.No offence ,just curious as to what your answer would be.

I have just read this sad case i still not believe it. How wrong with some guys around Ireland now.

Poor girl i do not wish such experience to anyone. I really hope she is ok or will be ok in the near future.

Also, there a bunch of people in passage who this could be that comes to mind to be honest, nearly everyone in passage has a dog and theres plenty of english accents down there
