Coincidentally I'm the complete opposite, i.e. your way or no way at all

Watched first 2 episodes of M.A.O.S today. It's alright, I won't exactly be jumping on the computer to see when new episodes are posted online like I am with Arrow.

Though I have to say, that English lass is ridiculously sexy (what is it about an English accent like that that drives me crazy..?)

Meh, I'm not expecting anything til mid-season or even season 2. With the exception of Firefly, all of Whedon's shows seem to suffer from the same ailment. They take so long to really get up and going. Teasing us with the Mystery of Coulson's death isn't enough. The sooner certain characters become less like Cardboard cut-outs the better.
Also, nuance. Not a word that exists on this show.
It..it reminds me of Chuck.

Still, We must believe in the Hallowed (teehee) one. I know Mans gotta have some real treats up his sleeve.

I've given S.H.I.E.L.D three episodes now and that's it. It's just so predictable and I don't want to waste more time on it

I love Chuck, so wouldn't mind if it was similar to that... but it isn't (to me, anyway). It's just predictable. (S.H.I.E.L.D episode three spoilers ahead!) like when we find out Sky has family issues, and her and Ward bond over the fact that it has 'suddenly gotten real'... because being on the jet while it had a hole in it and being kidnapped by S.H.I.E.L.D in the first episode wasn't enough to make it real. They will have their little romance, she'll betray S.H.I.E.L.D 'accidentally' and then have to prove her loyalty and blah blah blah. Very predictable, which is a shame because the show had so much potential. And where is there budget going, anyway?!

Anyone else started watching this show? What do you think of it?

Honestly? I'm not impressed. All I had heard from people was how amazing it was, and then I watched the pilot and thought "have I seen something different?". I found the story was very predictable, and I'm already suspecting which characters will be killed off and which will have a romance. There were moments that I found funny and good, but that's it - only moments. Moments don't make a show. There was a lot of things that weren't necessary at all, but they were there simply to fill the time. I have some predictions for the show, which I have included below (in white font, so you will have to highlight to read. Is it technically a spoiler-alert? I don't know. Anyway, here we go

The loner "I do everything on my own" guy (Ward, I think his name is) will have a romance with the new girl/rebel.
The Fitz/Simmons team will be there purely for the adorable-sickening feeling they give us, and then one or both will be killed off.
The out-of-field-work agent who had a bad experience and is now "just the driver" (like we thought that would actually happen) will die a heroic death and blah blah blah.
Coulson will be a clone or something, brought back from the dead properly. Tahiti will be a secret facility where they did this. Or, they could have gotten another superhero involved and magic has brought him back. I don't know.
The show seems to be suggesting there might be a romance between Coulson and Hill. If there is, then that is just ridiculous.
The centipede people will link in to a potential other franchise for Marvel.

What do you think of it?

Very disappointing, I too thought it would be more like MARVEL, characterization is very poor and i reckon some of the acting is way over the top ....... certainly far to predictable
