Ya. It worked fine for a few days, pretty fluid gameplay without having connection issues. Then when I was starting a new job, it froze, I turned off the system after 10 minutes with no response, went back on and bam. Character gone.

Rockstar have announced that they are to add $500,000 in game currency to all users whom have played GTA Online during the month of October. Their way of making amends for all the early screw ups upon launch. It will be dispatched in 2 lots, the first half expected next week with the remaining half before October ends.

Online seems to be steady now (for PS3 at least). Still some slight glitches, though nothing monumental like before. Started a new character, am almost back up to rank 15 where I was before my old character got deleted, and so far so good. Some times I get disconnected, receiving the message "kicked by other users" even though there may be no other users online.
