To be fair, you were not there and you didn't hear HOW he said the word. There are some men out there that are a little needy and have a lot of love in their hearts with no one to give it to and sometimes it does get wrongly directed to the one person they feel close to. The chap that I met really means it, based on one over night booking. He is an absolute sweetie, but I'm constantly having to explain to him that I don't want a boyfriend, even when I retire etc.
