I don't want flowers and waves , but .... :

I slept 4 hours last nite , have being driving since 9 am , got home by 3 pm , had to pick up Vanessa and be at the event by 7 or so.

I had prepared a hell of a speech and was going to go ahead with it , if I was the 1st one to speak as I was told.

Got there by 7.20 pm , the debate started 10 minutes later.

Others spoke before me , as Laura Lee and Thomas ... whatever.

My name was called and I didn't know what to do, go ahead and read my speech or "have a go" , "challenge" Mr Thomas.

Yes ,yes , I was nervous as well , had to make a decision fast ..

Start talking about something , don't remember what . Actually was trying to get the ideas in order in my head.

I needed a few minutes to be just Rachel Divine.

Just spoke from heart.

Would be lots of things I said , such as none of them spoke to the vast majority of escorts , yet they speak for them. Look at the Committee , I said , how many sex workers they attended? Only two (referring to me and Steph) ..

I am really tired , had the company of a great guy for the last few hours ...

Thank you Rachel and Vanessa xxx. I thought this country was going to go into the night with draconian laws to criminalize the clients of escorts without anybody to defend them as nobody would speak up. It took a very brave English & Spanish girl to stand tall & stand up for all us Irish punters - RESPECT. Please let me know if there is anything I should be doing to help prevent these new laws from coming into force? Once again I thank both.
