I completely agree with you, in my past relationships I never bother to be presented to the family, I understand that this is difficult relationship and acceptance, not everyone understands our feelings, but more importantly is what we feel, and we should think first about our happiness independent of our family, in my opinion keep an open relationship to society but outside the family would be the right,, go out diner,, shopping,, travel together,, have a normal life, dont have to inclued the family,,
We know this is a special relationship.. we have to understand the bad and the good side,,
