Don't believe it for a second. Publicity stunt is all. And on the off chance it is true, I'll boycott it and hope that 1000's of others do the same.

I hope he does get the roll of Robin. I really do. Especially if they happen to choose one of the story-lines where a Robin dies and use that part right at the beginning of the film and then replace him with someone who can act later on.
