Joining the forums to submit negative reviews

Quite often when we are processing the reviews, people have written that they have been seeing escorts for a while but have only joined the forums to leave a negative review for an escort because the service was so poor.

What is your personal take on this?

Reviews can have an adverse economic effect on the escort who is left a negative review.

So it is something that should never be done lightly.

New reviewers, who join with the sole purpose of having an impact on an escort's earning power should be prohibited from posting for some period of time.

Personally I would like to see some system in place where a person would need to be a member in good standing, here on E-I, before they were allowed to post reviews.

Good-standing could come in a number of different guises .....................

(1) A member should have to be a registered member for a period of time before being allowed to review.
or
(2) A registered member should have to have a certain number of posts before being allowed to review.
or
(3) A registered member should have a certain number of Escort references before being allowed to review

There may be other guidelines that could be followed up but the important issue needs to be resolved as negative reviews must impact on the earnings of escorts.

It is important that trolls who join and abuse the system for the sole purpose of destroying an escort's reputation must be stopped..........................likewise those who join just to promote/pimp an escort would find it more difficult if there were rules and regulations in place to protect the escorts.

Just my personal take on it...................I don't intend to offend anyone, either escort or punter/client/reviewer with this opinion.

I have only just noticed this section so apologies for having my recent rants about reviews on the main discussion board.

I am so on the fence about reviews. You'd think I've been on the receiving end of loads of bad reviews lol, not the case.

I have 230+ positive reviews on another site which is more than enough for me, not one negative which I am quite happy about.

BUT on this site I have about 8 reviews all together, 1 was neutral and the only reason for that was that he didn't think I was very experienced in this game which I thought was quite unfair and hurtful considering I was young enough to be his daughter and I had only been escorting for 6 months at this point so hands up, I was inexperienced but was the review really necessary? He even said that my service was as my profile describes so really I cant see where I went wrong enough to deserve the review, also at that time the only other ladies he'd been to see were 15+ years older than me.

THEN I got a proper negative review which was filled with inaccurate information, the client complained that I was late. I text him about an hour before he was due to see if he could come at 3.15 instead of 3 (hardly the end of the world) he seemed fine about it so at 3.06pm I called him to say I was ready, he said ok that he would be over soon. 20 minutes later he arrived as he was across the road in the pub having a pint. I didn't mention anything and wasn't bothered as I had plenty time before my next client arrived and didn't think he had a problem either.....I was wrong

THEN he said that I asked him to leave after 45 minutes when he paid for an hour. He had a full service from me TWICE in the time he was with me aswell as a massage at the beginning. I have a reputation actually for the opposite, I have no clocks in the room and I tend to run over time with clients unless of course the clients a bad client. After he came the second time he got up and started getting dressed, so what was I supposed to do? Tell him he's not leaving as he still has 15 mins left?

During the booking he asked me to PISS on his face and FUCK HIM with a strapon which are both services I do not advertise, I've never advertised them. I offer a very vanilla (protected) service, my service list is pretty small but its honest and accurate so really this was his fault turning up, expecting services I don't do

When I disputed this review I said exactly what I have just written here, I said he's left out valid points to his review such as the reason why he was so late in getting in the room with me and the reason why our session was over in 45 minutes and that really I believe his review is based on him being disappointed as I didn't provide services he expected due to his own ignorance for not checking my profile first to see what was available.

He then LIED, bare face LIED by saying he didn't ask for those service's, that he only said he seen it in porn and thought it looks cool. That's so untrue. He asked for the services during the booking then at the end I tried to explain to him that if he wants services like that he needs to check they're available as those particular services can only be done by someone who is comfortable with it, not to mention watersports needs preparation and he asked me to piss on his face during sex so who the fuck is gonna just start pissing on someone's face on top of the bed? Nobody, the guy was just difficult/delusional/unfair/ignorant/arrogant/awkward and borderline aggressive with disgusting smokers breath just to add in the mix. He didn't mention anything about my other dispute's with him leaving after 45 mins and with us being so late in starting the booking.

Anyway all of this totally tarnished my reviews and DID put people off seeing me as they thought my reviews for E-I were very mixed. None of this was my fault so it did upset me, cost me money and so therefor I stopped working in Ireland.

THEN out of the blue a lovely lady from the E-I office (don't know who) phoned me and said that the negative review I had was unfair, seemed malicious and as I said had a lot of missing information that was relevant to the reviewer's complaints. She also said it should never have been authorised and published on the site so they deleted it. I am sure you know E-I DO NOT delete negative reviews lightly as there would be no point in the reviewing system if everyone could just have they're negative reviews removed.

The client who left me the negative review then went on to write a few positive ones for other ladies but I think after seeing me he then realised that if he wants certain services, he needs to make sure they are available or he's in for a big disappointment but I really don't think he should have tarnished my name and been so cruel based on his own mistake. Fucking arsehole

So I was thinking of coming back to Ireland and opting out of the review system to avoid anything like this happening again. If men really, really want to check up on me, I could always send them a link to Google that has my 230+ reviews on there for them to read but with the feedback I got from other punters on the forum, they seem to think that ladies opting out of the reviewing system have something to hide when for me that is just not the case, frustrating they would tarnish us all with the same brush but that's just how it is

So I just don't know how I feel about all this to be honest

We had the trusted reviewer status, which we did away with because 'trusted reviewers' were actually abusing their position of good standing. You also have to bear in mind that only about 2% of people that visit the site actually post, and a lot more create an account just to review, so it would do a massive disservice to force people to post before they can review. Besides, all they would have to do in theory is post 20 times (as an example) in 'drop one, keep one' to fill their quota, so to speak. Again, with references, not that many people bother with it. One other point is that there are more fake positive reviews than fake negative ones.

Well at least E-I have the smell a rat function which can give potential clients the heads up. The other site that I am on with all my reviews also link up IP address to warn others of fake reviews. I think all of my reviewers have also been to see many other well established escorts so you can tell all of mine are genuine anyway.

I should mention also that with regards to the OP, the guy who left me the negative review was new to the site just to post my review I think, then went on to review others.

The guy who left me the neutral had already been to see 2 other ladies (much more mature ladies) before posting his review about me so he wasn't new when he reviewed me but I do think his review was petty and unfair.

My opinion? Feck I just don't know. The review system on EVERY site is so flawed. I see people complaining about E-I's reviewing system being crap but that's not the case, all sites are the same. How are the staff ever to know if something is genuine or not?

I would personally probably think its a good idea to make so many posts on the forum before posting a review.

Us escorts have to make so many posts before we can use certain functions of the site (accomodation for example) so I think clients should too. it might make the amount of reviews being made drop though.

.i think it is despicable, to be honest..there should be some vetting/ restrictions along the lines suggested by MM. Personally, i try to review every girl i meet, bar those that do not allow same,and only rarely give a negative where i think it is really justified...
