Help Keyla in her fight with cancer. Every little helps.
It could happen to any of us.

Well, the only one they have is that the listings stay up before and after the tour dates. But rather than being a feature it's simply down to staff laziness and incompetence. Sometimes they stay up for months after they have left.

None of the other requested features are implemented.

Against every other conceivable web UI benchmark that site is exponentially behind this one. I mean there is still absolutely no escort search system in the site. I mean, can you believe that???? The review search sytem, in fact the entire review system is just laughable. Currently after a 30 second poke, I notice that the links for the escorts AND the reviewers other reviews are currently broken, the sort implementation is pathetic, requiring 2 clicks and no way to toggle ascending descending, and don't get me started on the popups... Grrrrrr.......

It reminds me of the time that Ryanair got a leaving cert student to code their website for them. Someone should take Jake's HTML for Dummies book away from him and employ professionals.

    Cool.. thanks.

Fire your tech staff. There is no way in HELL that making the change to the profiles to show the upcoming tours a week in advance requires months of work. Pat, this entire site could be coded from top to bottom using notepad in less than a month.

There is one hour's or two tops work involved in this. Take it from someone who does this sort of stuff for a living.
With all due respect punterminator, I may not be the most tech savvy person here, but to say we could make a change like this in an hour or two is complete bollox. In fact your saying that has caused me to think you must not be very tech savvy. I accept you don't know your way around our systems, but to say something like this would take an hour or two is a joke. I'm actually a tad insulted on behalf of my tech team

One of the main issues would be our accounts systems, as invoices are currently generated based on the number of days a lady is advertised. We'd pretty much have to change how our whole accounts system works to do this change, but I don't suppose you considered there might be any issues. I don't think you've worked on many big projects if you think a site like this can be built in a month.

"I think it was Bigpaws who said recently he considered GFE to mean OWO was available."

I did say that and I still do believe it .............. I also suggested just getting rid of the term GFE completely which it seems you may now (months later!!) be in the process of doing Pat.

With all due respect Patricia I absolutely know what I am talking about. There is no need for any of this to impact on your accounts system as there is no need for any of your underlying data structures to change. At the moment, the <City>-Escorts page is filtered on the start and end date of their registered tours. All that would be required is to introduce a new page that extended those filters. You shouldn't feel insulted on behalf of your tech-team, you should feel insulted BY them. To say that a change like that would take months to implement is "bollox" of the highest order.

As I said previously, this entire site could be coded from the ground up in a month, with time to spare for a nice holiday. This stuff is my bread and butter Patricia, please trust me on that.

Hmmm, not sure I get you. Granted my explanation may have been a little simplistic for the sake of brevity, however the facts stand. There is no need to make any change that would effect your accounting systems. N'es pas?

Ad state = suspended (no invoice generated)
Ad state = active (invoice generated every day)

There is a big difference to our accounts system.

Are things getting to technical for you to understand red-arse?
