Over rated actors and actresses

Thanks to Lara's thread, I've decided to start an opposing one.

This may be controversial, but here we go...

The big three are totally over rated
These are

Robert de Nero. Living on past glories, totally over rated

al Pacino shouty little twerp, a complete over the top ham

jack Nicholson weirdo creepy sleaze, made a career out of playing the same character, himself.

I disagree strongly about de Nero, he may be living on past glories but oh what glories they are: Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, Raging Bull, three of my favourite movies of all time!

Al Pacino, he was good in The Godfather films, Scarface and Glengarry Glen Ross.

Jack Nicholson, I can take him or leave him.

That is pretty much how I feel about the first and 2nd. I haven't watched many films with Al Pacino in, so can't comment on him.

I'm really not a Jack Nicholson fan, he makes my skin crawl.
