Hotels v Apartments and Escort Security

Apartments are much safer than hotels for all the reasons that Carlos pointed out .................. the most recent and most savage physical attacks on escorts have all happened in hotels so that goes a long way to shattering the illusion of hotels being in any way safer.

The safest option is to share an apartment of course and it's impossible for two escorts to share one hotel room.
And I know it's technically illegal for more than one girl to work from an apartment but it's also technically illegal to pay for anything more than an escorts "time and companionship" so blind eyes are turned all the time in this business ........... even the Garda turn a blind eye to escorts sharing apartments if they realise it's for safety reasons.

Incorrect. It is perfectly legal to pay for sex in Ireland. We have our legal reasons for going into the "time and companionship only" blurb at times, but if a client pays an escort for sex neither has done anything wrong in the eyes of the law.

As for the Garda turning a blind eye .............. I know for a fact that they do turn a blind eye and they do it on a constant basis. It's not very difficult to find and arrest two or more girls working from one apartment but it happens rarely ............ ask yourself why.
When they do arrest two Independent Escorts working from one apartment with the "operating a brothel" excuse you can be certain that there are other mitigating reasons for the girls being prevented from working ............. not in every case of course but in most.
I'm not guessing here Pat, I happen to know this is the case ........... at least in Dublin.

If the escorts are good girls and don't force the Guards to get involved with them by bringing too much attention on themselves then they shouldn't have any problems at all Pat ............. don't attract the attention of the neighbours, don't invite unsavoury characters into your apartment, don't abuse clients in any way etc. I could go on but you get the picture ladies!!

Anyway the very very small risk of being arrested on a minor charge is a much better deal than the risks of working alone in a hotel room ................

What I know, I never heard before about any attack in the hotel. Maybe one.
What I know, it was all in an apartment.
Just from fucking March I know about 10 another nasty attacks and robbery, rape, kill, whatever from that kind of shit..
And all it was happened just in apartments!!

And I know of many many more incidents in hotel rooms ............. some minor incidents but they could have been, as in your case, a lot worse.
The point is escorts have the option to work in pairs in apartments, legal or not ............. they don't have that same option in a hotel room.

Actually you're right Kat!!

If the Guards want to stop an escort from working for whatever reason then they will find a way ............
If an escort believes she is safer working in a hotel then no matter what she's told she won't listen ..........
And if some lad wants to smash a particular escorts skull in then he will do it no matter were she's staying .............

[1] I would like to see the law changed so ladies don't need to rely on the Garda turning a blind eye

[2] The Garda frequently have their own agendas, there is politics, the media, bent cops... I can't agree with you that if a couple of working ladies sharing an apartment keep their heads down, they should have no problems. For the most part this may be true, I hope it is mostly true, but it is not always the case.
