Is this screen grab from firefox blocking cookies? Because I'm getting the thing where I have to hit to enter the site on almost any page I try to open.

This shouldn't block the cookies unless you have added escort-ireland.com into exceptions, or you are using some other third party plugins that would block cookies. I have change the settings in my firefox as per your screengrab and all working well. If you click on the "Show Cookies" button on the very same screen and search for escort-ireland, you should find a cookie called ICO_auth? If this cookie exist it will disable the pop up consent overlay.
