Thread: Photoshop x

    Lightbulb Photoshop x

Not quite a month ago I spent a fortune on a photo shoot, aiming to update my Portfolio..

    Great raw pics.

Then I got back the 'cleaned up' photos (light switch in back ground removed, face blurred, lighting adjusted, etc.)

But I was absolutely shocked : my pictures are photo shopped to the point that I am not able to use a single one of them

until some of the additional 'work' is removed. The skin has been made plasticky to such an extent, I was aghast.

Since then, the photog has done some work in removing the photo shop, but I am still not satisfied with the results.

Will have to wait until one of my local pros comes back from Hols. (actually there's 1 pic that's ok.. )

So, here's my question : how appealing are 'natural' photos ? You know, the amateur, iPhone pics-like.. ?

Does it not take away from an Escort's professionalism to instead of having high-gloss professional pictures,

she'd have the simple ones ?

For a while now I have been encouraged by some of my visitors to bite the bullet and do some impromptu shots.

    What you all think ?

I see Sophie's , Rach's new pictures and I want sum bright and shiny ! They are beautiful !

But until my own are rescued, can I temporarily get away w the other kind ? Or do I just wait

And no, it's Not a tout xx it's a conundrum xx

I think a combination of "raw" photo's and professional photo's are good. however I do not like the over-photoshopped images that I sometimes see here. You brought up Rachel's photo's... those are excellently done, classy and sexy (which I think you want to go for?), may you need to contact her photographer.

    besides,

There's nothing wrong with light switches, so why 'shop them out? It's not like we're going to look at the switch and say, "my god that's an ugly light switch, I'm not visiting her", most won't even notice it.

A professional in any field does NOT use a mobile phone photo to sell their products -mobile phone photos say " I really dont give a fuck ,they can either like it or lump it "
On the other hand good photos taking using a good camera even if taken by a friend can be amazing ,most likely because the people involved are taking the time and whatever ability they have to do a good job ,there are some beautiful " natural " photos here ,An escorts profile can/is the first contact a client has ,the photos are the first thing they see and then go on to read the profile details so an escort needs to capture their attention - a good photo will do that ,then your description in your profile will "seal" the deal
Always makes my day when I meet an escort and find that her photos ( which I considered to be beautiful ) have underplayed her beauty so I usually get a lovely surprise
BTW I have sold over 1500 item through various internet sites over the last few years ,I have never had any of them returned because people thought they were deceived by deceptive photos ,but never used a mobile phone photo and no am not a professional photographer

Though I would be less harsh in my assessment, I would tend to agree with you.

I am a stickler for detail, tend to be a perfectionist, and so I'm hesitant to go the amateur route.

Also, I think in the snapshots you can maybe show the physical aspect of a person, but maybe not a mood ?

I'd prefer to present a 'setting' , and quality.. as opposed to just bum & boobs {just my personal preference } xx

I would say in your case, no for unprofessional Iphone like photos!
You are elegant classy, just like your profile

I think home made photos would do it for a younger profile, who would attract different clientele than you.
Many men prefer those photos instead, or at least told me this
    Good bye Ireland!

A good professional photo shoot shouldn't require further alterations using Photoshop or any other program. What ever the professional photographer hands back should be of a quality that shows you in the best possible light without being misleading as some Photoshopped photos are.

Most clients just want the escort to look like her image...............................so that when the door opens the first impression isn't "OMG!!! She looks nothing as good as her photos, her service will probably be substandard also...........I'm out of here"

The only people who need these photos to make you look like a Porn Star are the guys who don't visit escorts (or who don't review if they do) and use them as a tugging aid while in chat.

All you need is an honest photo of good professional quality that portrays you as you are.

I totally understand that you prefer professional and the standard that you get from it and your pics to date are perfect for you. However, personally I'm too much of a control freak and just can't trust someone else to take pictures of me that I like. I also find it hard to relax when someone else is taking them, because I'm too busy believing that I won't like them.

I do have a good camera and I am able to photoshop myself to a certain degree, with reference to blurring and taking out unwanted detail. Of course no where near as good a standard as a professional, but all I need in the name of discretion.

Part of me wishes I could take that leap of faith in someone, but as you have stated here, there are too many that assume you want the barbie doll look and it would just be a total waste of money unless you get the right photographer.

i use professional pictures and mobile phone in my album and some on my profile

idea was to show it was the person in the professional as what u will see at booking, but like kate i love taking my own pics, im more chilled relaxed, im an escort not model, but i also learn way more about posing, so when i do professional pics im more relaxed for them and no what to do to look the best

i find it abit mean to say mobile pics are unprofessional, have u seen the cameras on mobiles now? plus i love natural pics i see a mirror i have my phone,, snap and a new one for the album,

i personally think the levels of photoshop high gloss finish is a magazine fad, sorry very few of those models ever look like that in person, there unrealistic and some photo shop cartoonish,

plus the mix of self pics and professional has worked well for me personal, esp on other sites where u can charge for them to view ur albums,

I'm always a fan of natural photos not the photo shot ones.even the mobile phones ones are beautiful . They don't look cheap or tacky as long as there taken in focus.personally I like to see the lady's natural beauty shine through.
