I personaly prefer Circumcised men, much nicer in the look (view) and much more cleaner (no dirt, no smell. Usually it is always better to circumcised when they are kids, no feeling of pain. I had all my familly boys (Neplews) circumcise when they were kids, and has circumcised they is less men infection you can catch.

    MEDICAL ADVANTAGES
If a boy or man has recurrent medical problems related to the foreskin, circumcision may be advised

From a medical point of view, if a boy or man has recurrent medical problems related to the foreskin, circumcision may be advised. For example, if the foreskin is contributing to infections of the head of the penis, which will recur unless the foreskin is removed, circumcision may be recommended.

Tightening of the foreskin (phimosis) can create difficulties urinating and in adulthood can make sex very uncomfortable. Circumcision may be offered, although it's no longer the only treatment option. Newer treatments available include steroid creams, stretching and preputioplasty.

It's been suggested in studies that penile cancer and transmission of the HIV infection are less likely in circumcised men. However, this issue is not clear cut.

Studies in Africa have shown that men who are circumcised are less likely to contract HIV when practising heterosexual sex than men who aren't circumcised. Whether circumcision reduces the risk of HIV infection in men practising homosexual sex remains unclear.

    Disadvantages

In the UK, routine circumcision isn't thought to be medically necessary

In the UK, routine circumcision isn't thought to be medically necessary. This is because the risks associated with having a surgical procedure that involves a general anaesthetic and the possible postoperative complications outweigh any possible medical benefits.

Infection and bleeding are common after circumcision and, although usually easily treated, can be very uncomfortable and distressing for the patient and those close to him.

Loss of the protection provided by the foreskin can allow abrasion of the penis head to occur. This can result in scarring and loss of physical sensation.

    With the greatest of respect...

While not as extreme as FGM, circumcision is not a natural act. If you weren't supposed to have a foreskin, you wouldn't be born with one. Certainly as a medical procedure it can solve problems, and that's great, but billions of people around the world are circumcised in the name of religion, or simply because it's the done thing.

Babies DO feel pain when they're being circumcised. No anaesthetic is used in most cases, not even a local one, because we seem to shrug off babies' pain as them being too young to remember. That may be, but who's to say we have the right to inflict suffering on a child for any reason anyway? Does that not almost constitute an assault upon someone who lacks the reason to make this decision for themselves?

To me, the aesthetic argument doesn't hold water either. We all appreciate what people tell us is good - if porn sites didn't show gigantic circumcised cocks boning pornstars, and carry the message that this is all what women want, we wouldn't believe it. In the same way as they have been conditioned to think that being fat makes you unattractive to men, or that these types of clothes makes you sexier, I think that many women think that circumcised cock is better.

    And no, I'm not circumcised

This has to be the most ignorant statement i have ever read.HIV is transmitted from one body to another via fluid exchange, not whether a guy is circumcised or not.Whoever did that study should be hung, drawn and quartered for being a danger to society in general.

So if you don't agree with it then it must be BS eh???

This is a medically proven fact that related to the study of friction/non friction and broken skin being more prone to spreading, or catching aids among other things...

I think the risk is that the bacteria and viruses are more likely to survive under the cover of the warm moist foreskin if it's not been washed straight after. And therefor more likely to infect you.
On the other hand I've heard that womans sex fluids are very acid and capable - when left on the penis - to kill some of these germs.
I prefer circumsized because of the cleanliness but I agree it's a rough thing to do to a poor mickey.
