This is horrific, I cannot imagine how everyone is going to cope with this, the mind drives people to do unbelievable things.

In memory of an awesome woman Laura Lee RIP
It's so difficult to articulate just how much she meant. Inspirational, brave and irreplaceable - our hero.
Please do what you can for her daughter. Deeply appreciated.

Suicide is considered to be selfish enough, but to traumatise that poor woman and all those children that had to see this is outrageously unfair and will obviously have long term effects on them all. Poor souls.

Sometimes when in pain all a person like that sees only their pain. They just can't see that they're loved. I feel for his family.
What if "It's Raining Men" and 'Let the bodies hit the floor' are both about the same event but from different perspectives 🤔

That is a horrific story. Burning to death must surely be the worst way to go. For some reason, self-immolation has long been the method used by people who want their deaths to be political statements. The most famous of them were Thich Quang Duc and Mohamed_Bouazizi. The famous picture of Thich Quang Duc sitting quietly as the flames devoured his body won the Pulitzer prize for photography.

I think anybody who says Suicide is selfish truly doesn't understand the nature of depression!

Nor, indeed of despair and desperation...selfishness is usually irrelevant to suicide...but I do not think the drama of this man's death related to those things...
Such a death in a worthy cause is courageous and heroic...avenging personal bitterness is not a worthy cause...and the less so when it traumatises children for life.
