A known prostitute has been slapped with an Asbo banning her from seeing an 87-year-old in a care home, after thousands of pounds were drained from the pensioner's account.
Terri-Lee Pearce was barred from entering the council-run sheltered accommodation in Swindon after the authority became convinced Allan Thipthorpe had withdrawn almost £5,000 in order to pay the 30-year-old.
But Pearce claims she has turned her back on her old life and that her relationship with the elderly widower is not sexual - while Mr Thipthorpe insists he should be allowed to 'do what he wants' with his money.

Pearce looks after Mr Thipthorpe as a carer, the pair say.
'This is just a load of nastiness - the council don’t want you to enjoy yourself. I can do what I like, it’s my money,' said Mr Thipthorpe, who claimed seeing him accompanied by a younger woman had made people jealous.

'Blokes like ladies who are a bit cheesy and the ladies don’t. It’s jealousy. She’s young and she’s got nice legs.
'I’ve not got long to go, have I? I’m still attracted to ladies.
'I got that young girl to try to do me a job as, you know, my carer. I think I’m entitled to that.'

'I have moved on': Pearce, seen left and right outside court in Swindon in 2003, claims she has turned her back on her old life and that her relationship with Mr Thipthorpe is not sexual
Pearce is a well-known prostitute in the Wiltshire town, and has previous convictions for theft and soliciting sex.
She claims to have turned her back on the trade and said she offered to help Mr Thipthorpe - whose wife died two years ago - after meeting him in a cafe.
'He mentioned he needed a carer to help him do things in his flat and I said I could help,' she said.
'I’m not doing anything else at the moment but I have been looking for cleaning jobs.
'It was not a paid thing. He might slip me a £20 note for cleaning his flat and say "that’s for your trouble" but I never asked for money.'
But the police and council responded to complaints from residents at Elizabeth House, the sheltered housing complex where Mr Thipthorpe lives.
They are said to be 'alarmed and distressed' by her presence, with one elderly lady said to be so terrified she locks her doors and windows whenever Pearce is in the building.
Swindon Magistrates’ Court heard on Friday that Mr Thipthorpe had reduced his bank funds from £5,000 in October last year to just £100 this month in order to pay her.
Pearce admitted in court she had been with Mr Thipthorpe when he had made several large withdrawals of cash, but claimed they were as payment for her services as a carer.
District Judge Simon Cooper said he was satisfied she had pressured him into the transactions.
He granted an Asbo banning her from going near Mr Thipthorpe or entering any of the 32 council-run sheltered housing schemes in the town.

But speaking after the case, Pearce denied ripping off the pensioner and said she has turned her life around for the sake of her two young daughters, aged six and four.
'My past is coming back to haunt me - the police and the council won’t let me forget it,' she said.
'I had a horrible lifestyle, very chaotic, and I was working on the streets. If this was four years ago I would have held my hands up but I have moved on now.
'I’ve got my children and I don’t want them seeing their mummy being branded a prostitute.
'I have done nothing wrong and all I can think is they want me out of Swindon.'
PC Louise Kuklinski, vice manager for Wiltshire Police, said: 'It is our priority to protect and safeguard the most vulnerable in our society and this Asbo was deemed appropriate by a number of partner agencies and ratified by a bench of magistrates.
'Asbos are not given lightly and there was significant evidence to support the application from agencies and individuals.'
Swindon Council solicitor Francis Maples said: 'The council has legal and moral duties to do all that it can to prevent anti-social behaviour, especially when it is impacting adversely on vulnerable people.
'In this case the council has acted in response to, firstly police concerns following Miss Pearce having apparently got an old man out of bed late at night and taken him to Tescos where an attempt was made to draw his money which was witnessed by an alert security officer.
'And secondly, concerns of residents of the Elizabeth House sheltered housing scheme who have been alarmed and distressed by the presence of Miss Pearce on their premises, e.g one elderly lady refers to the need to keep her doors and windows locked in consequence.
'We will continue to seek to safeguard the interests of our residents as may be appropriate.'
In 2004 Pearce was given a three-year ASBO banning her from any of the ‘red light’ areas of Swindon.
