    Sonnet 18 ('Shall I compare thee')

    It's a wonderful sonnet to capture all in the world that is beautiful, but to decide that it's still not an appropriate comparison for his one true love ("fair youth").

    Good post! Great writer thee is!

    Just because you may lack knowledge of Shakespeare's sonnets doesn't mean your not intelligent. In fact I reckon your quite the opposite

    Full Fathom Five

    Full fathom five thy father lies;
    Of his bones are coral made;
    Those are pearls that were his eyes:
    Nothing of him that doth fade
    But doth suffer a sea-change
    Into something rich and strange.
    Sea-nymphs hourly ring his knell:
    Ding-dong.
    Hark! now I hear them,--ding-dong, bell.

    This is my favourite and was on one of my courses during my days at school. It has remained after the trauma that was "Education" has passed.
