"
.. A Woman could be happy with any Man as long as she does not Marry him..""
I have to admit that I was reading one of the Irish politic forums a while back where there was some discussion about how the Irish are compared to the English and were they 'the same' and most didn't seem to mind, but there were some who just couldn't let go of the past and then it hit me, as I was reading what one woman had said. It isn't really old enough to be in the history books in some cases. Her Uncle in her life time was stoned to death for insisting on speaking Irish, when he had been told he had to speak English.
I was shocked and mortified to think that people from where I come from could force someone to do that and treat him that way when he refused.
I hope things have changed radically since then, although it was only a matter of decades ago, I personally would not want to be associated with such behaviour and wouldn't dream of trying to erase someones roots and identity. Yes we evolve and things change, but it's meant to be for the better, not to enforce power and take away someones heritage.
Sorry if that is going off on a tangent, but I really wouldn't be surprised if people didn't think the way you wrote just there. I'm not sure how forgiving I would be if the shoe were on the other foot and all I can say is that I'm sorry and am embarrassed to be associated with it due to my nationality.
I know it wasn't all one sided by the way for those in the North who likely have plenty of horror stories of their own. I'm simply highlighting the fact that being English isn't the diamond that some are making it out to be.
Everyone is an individual regardless of where they come from. All the nationality does is add to a description to give the client a 'flavour' of the person they are looking to meet. It really shouldn't be like a packet of revels where you take pot luck that you hit a flavour that you like, you should be able to pick what you want and know you enjoy. For me that would be maltesersSomeone else can have the nuts!
p.s. I am more than happy to be grouped with the Irish Escorts, as the few that I have talked to seem like lovely people that I would like outside of work. Even their weird sense of humour makes me laugh![]()

my view is easy to explain deven, i visit escorts for sex, granted its sex with beautiful women who are out of my league, but never the less purely for sex, as it happens i foolishly fell in love with an escort thinking the feeling was mutual. the real world is , that this is the sex trade , not a dating site , the men are here for sex, and the escorts are here to make money. its not cynicism its fact.,
You're making the same mistake that Rachel is making and that is assuming that all answers are aimed at her. I didn't know what nationality she was advertsing in until she got defensive on this thread and then I went and had a look and had a good old chuckle at it. It's the irony that made me chuckle, as she has said countless times how much she disliked the English and yet she is advertising as one. I assume that was the reason why she chose it, for a titter.
The very idea that other Escorts are checking out her profile constantly makes me laugh too. I don't have enough time in the day to keep a breast of my own profile, let alone checking out others. Mind you having said that, she did mention she had been checking mine out on a different forum, so I wonder how much time she spends looking at other Escorts profiles?
I imagine most people have been replying generally about the subject and how they think of it as a whole. I'm afraid if some people feel they are on the attack or being defensive, it is how they have chosen to interpret it and that does not make it fact.

To be frank you were replying to someone about agencies, fake profiles and whether or not you would go ahead with a booking if something looked fishy so I dont see what this has to do with your original response, getting emotionally attached is not related to that is it?
Also for all the naivety I have I understand that this is a business and not a dating site and that it is all very fleeting, doesn't mean I cant enjoy it for what it. It doesn't make me deluded to enjoy the persons company, I always known that the last time I meet escort from here could be the last time I ever see them and I am perfectly ok with that, if your ever not then you have problems.
The beauty of the internet is that there is always a 'close' button.

It was never an issue, but I've been traveling all day and this is the first chance I've had to catch up with the forum, so just adding my point of view as I read on. We can't all be on here 24/7.
Going back to the sausages thing. I saw a bit of an old 'Pie in the Sky' series yesterday and it mirrored this situation very well. This guy was selling sausages as prime pork and veal and selling them at top whack prices. Due to the fact they contained veal there were protesters outside his business who were vegetarians. It turned out that the sausages didn't contain any meet in them at all and it ended up with him being done with regards to the trades description act and the protestors were eating his sausages quite happily.
Now... if he had been honest, he would not have had the protesters, who would have likely been his best customers and he wouldn't have got in trouble with the law.
It's all about misrepresentation. Can you imagine the irony of me watching that at the same time this thread was in full flow yesterday and it took me 24 hours for it to click, even though I had mentioned sausages in one of my replies. Now you know where that analogy came from.
