Xbox One vs PS4

Which one is better? There has been a lot of negative feelings towards Xboxs new machaine such as the inability to swap games and it must be connected to an always on internet and the camera must always be on (watching you for any paranoids out there)

Any opinions?

I get you Tom, but I have never liked any of the PS incarnations, and even with the shite MS is bringing out I probably will end up getting the XBOX ONE, however I might wait a while and see if they listen to their customer base and remedy these problems

I think PS4 has all the bells and whistles, but I just think that their catalogue will be limited because Microsoft have their fingers in so many pies in terms of decent developers. I think that owning a PS4 will be like owning a sports car that you can't get the right fuel for.

While owning the Xbox one is like borrowing a car from a friend, having to ring up every day to let them know it is still a car, and having to pay to be able to use it

Considering the games I'll be playing, the PS4 is in no way limited to me. It will have the games I want to play, so not a problem for me I can have the beautiful sports car AND fuel it

Owning an xbox will be like having a Fiat Panda with a clamp on it for most of the year. You can put all the fuel in you want, the fucker still wont drive.

Personally, I do play games online a fair bit. As I have had an xbox for just over a year now, I had live for the first year and tbh, kinda fell out of sync with the online world and never bothered to get live again, problem is...If i do this with the new xbox, I cant even play offline on my games.

You have to log in every 24 hrs, I'm not mad into have that much of a consistent digital footprint tbh.

Camera, WHY THE HECK would I want microsoft watching my do the dirty to some young lass when I've got skygo playing on the xbox?

As far as brand managment goes, if sony told me to stick with the ps3 if I dont like the ps4, I'd probably tell them to go f*** themselves as well.

I'm sure you've heard all of these things before, just my PERSONAL opinion on each matter.

Microsoft will have more established developers at their beckon call, and the established developers Sony do have on board will be releasing multi-platform titles anyway. I'll be getting the Xbox One because I don't give a hoots about borrowing or buying preowned titles.

Yeah Id be in the same boat, I have no intention of swapping games either
