Isn't Wallenda a famous family of several generations, doing circus acrobatics ?
Same family that has lost numerous members over the years, in various falls in their acts ?

Yes, he's 7th generation member of the Flying Wallendas Family.
In 2012 he became the first person to cross Niagra Falls by Tightrope.
This guy is married with three children, on one hand I respect what he's trying, on the other I think in some ways a bit selfish.

In my opinion such an act is an arrogant form of showmanship-vandalism. Something that is so timeless, so grandiose and awe inspiring as the Grand Canyon should never be abused to feed anyone's ego.
