Hi everyone.. one is booking a holiday.. really bet on tenerife.. has anyone been? I want something lively with a good buzz again so... any recs on where to go.. I have just been but it was a more relaxing part of tenerife! all you head bangers out there fill me in!! Toodles xxx

Have not been to Tenerife but I am just back from gran Canaria.
Talking to friends who have been to Tenerife and we all have the same story.
The Canaries are dying a death in the recession.
The Spainish have no money to holiday.
The British are going to non euro countries and Europeans in general are not travelling.
I was amazed at the dearth of young people in playa del ingles and friends said the same about
Playa del Americas on Tenerife.
Sexy Jessica lives there so maybe PM her

The food is amazing, and there was good entertainment. A bit more expensive than most places, and not too sure about nightlife, but it might be worth looking into
